Ongoing Collection
A sort-of project, the Ongoing Collection is made up of photos taken on 35mm film with disposable and point and shoot cameras. What began as simplifying my tools as a means to get out of a creative rut has turned into a meaningful part of my practice in which I capture anything of interest that I encounter in my daily life. I've always had an affinity for collecting and this way of working allows me to do so and to make connections between my visual interests. These photos often populate my zines and have transmutable meanings that shift depending on how they're sequenced; their ambiguity offering a sense of relatability.
